The cultural and natural heritage is amongst the priceless assets not only for a country but also of the humanity as a whole. The disappearance of the heritage is a major loss to the heritage of all the people of the world. Keeping in view the same in order to preserve the world’s heritage in the best possible manner, the World Heritage Committee and World Heritage fund came into existence in 1976. Since then the committee works for the implementation of conservation concerning the protection of the world’s cultural and natural heritage. This committee selects Heritage sites across the world and issues a list of the same. There are many valuable sites across India from different eras of the history, in addition to this diversified flora and fauna is also there.
